If a client of Helping Hands Initiative Incorporated is required to attend a physical examination, then a staff member of Helping Hand Initiative Incorporated will accompany the client to the physical examination and help the client fill out the necessary paperwork so the physical examination can be completed. After the physical examination is completed, a decision by the Social Security Administration about disability benefits take about six months than once a six-month determination period has ended the client of Helping Hands Initiative Incorporated will be notified as to whether they were accepted or rejected for disability benefits. If the client of Helping Hands Initiative Incorporated was accepted for disability benefits than payments will begin but if the client was rejected then a staff member of Helping Hands Initiative Incorporated will help the client obtain the paperwork necessary to file an appeal.
