WorkShops: Helping Hands Initiative Incorporated has begun to offer workshops to help individuals with disabilities which will be held throughout the year.
Workshops will be presented on the second and fourth Tuesday’s of every month at 11 Broadway.

·March 14th 2007: Financial Aid for Higher Education.Find out about the options available so you can achieve your higher education dreams.
·March 28th 2007: Identity Theft. Learn how to protect your identity. This workshop is offered in conjunction with Chase Manhattan Bank.
·April 11th 2007: Understanding disability benefits. Come learn about the process and the benefits of applying for disability benefits. A representative from the Social Security Administration will be present to answer your questions.
·April 25th 2007: Health Initiative in conjunction with Champion Medical. Free blood Pressure and Cholesterol Screenings will be conducted.
